గీతాజయంతి ఉత్సవాలు
11.12.2024, బుధవారం మార్గశిర శుద్ధ ఏకాదశి గీతా జయంతి సందర్భంగా మాతృశ్రీ ఓరియంటల్ కలశాలతో MOU కుదుర్చుకున్న వివిధ పాఠశాల, కళాశాలల విద్యార్దులకు సెమినార్ హాల్లో భగవద్గీత పోటీలు నిర్వహించబడ్డాయి. మధ్యాహ్నం అందరింటి ఆవరణలో ఉన్న తి.తి.దే కళ్యాణమండపం లో ఏర్పాటు చేయబడిన సమావేశంలో ముఖ్య అతిథి గా డా. ఉషారాణి సంకా, ఆత్మీయ అతిథి బొప్పూడి రామబ్రహ్మంగారు, కరస్పాండెంట్ జి. రాఘవేంద్రరావు గారు, సిద్ధార్థ ఇంగ్లీష్ మీడియం హైస్కూల్ కరస్పాండెంట్, గోరంట్ల వెంకన్న ఓరియంటల్ కళాశాల యాజమాన్యం వారు పాల్గొన్నారు. సభాధ్యక్షులు, కరస్పాండెంట్ గోగినేని రాఘవేంద్రరావు గారు వచ్చే ఏడాది భగవద్గీత పోటీలు మండల స్థాయి జిల్లా స్థాయిలలో నిర్వహించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తామని తద్ద్వారా సంస్కత భాషా సేవతో పాటు ఉత్తమ సంస్కారాలు కలిగిన పౌరులను తయారు చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తామన్నారు. ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డా. అన్నదానం హనుమత్ ప్రసాద్ గారు ప్రసంగిస్తూ భగవద్గీత ఎప్పుడు పుట్టింది? ఎందుకు మనం ఇంత వైభవంగా ఒక గ్రంథాన్ని జయంతి గా ఏర్పాటు చేసుకున్నాము? అని సవివరంగా చెప్పారు. అనంతరం ముఖ్య అతిథి డా. ఉషారాణి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ విద్యార్ధులందరూ భగవద్గీత నేర్చుకొని భావితరాలకు మన సాంస్కృతిక వారసత్వాన్ని అందజేయాలని ఈ గ్రంథం మనల్ని సన్మార్గంలో నడిపించే సూచిక అని వివరించారు. అనంతరం ఆత్మీయ అతిథి బొప్పూడి రామబ్రహ్మం గారు భగవద్గీత 18 అధ్యాయంలో ఒక్కొక్క శ్లోకం ఒక్కొక్క అస్త్రం లాంటిది అనీ, స్థితప్రజ్ఞత అంటే ఏమిటో ఆధార శ్లోకాలతో తెలియజేశారు. గీతా జయంతి సందర్భంగా వివిధ పాఠశాలల్లో మరియ కళాశాలలో నిర్వహించిన పోటీల్లో విజేతలుగా నిలిచిన వారికి బహుమతి ప్రదానం జరిగింది. పోటీలలో పాల్గొనడానికి విద్యార్థులను ఉత్సాహపరిచి ఆ యా పాఠశాల మరియు కళాశాలల నుండి విద్యార్థులతో పాటు ఉపాధ్యాయులు ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి విచ్చేసి తమ సంతోషాన్ని తెలియజేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి SVJP Trust ఎంతో సహాయ సహకారాలను అందించింది. రామబ్రహ్మం గారు ప్రథమ ద్వితీయ స్థానాలలో నిలిచిన వారికి గీతా మకరందాన్ని అందించారు. అలాగే ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి భగవద్గీత పుస్తకాలను అందించారు. SVJP Temples Trusty శ్రీ కె. సాయిబాబా గారు అతిథులను అమ్మ ప్రసాదం తో సత్కరించారు. మాతృశ్రీ ఓరియంటల్ కళాశాల సంస్కృత విభాగ అధ్యక్షులు డా. ఆర్. వరప్రసాద్ గారు ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. సంస్కృత ఉపన్యాసకులు వల్లూరి త్రయంబకం గారు వందన సమర్పణ చేశారు. శాంతిమంత్రంతో కార్యక్రమం ముగిసింది.
On December 11, 2024, Wednesday, on the occasion of Githa jayanthi (Margashira Shuddha Ekadashi), Matrusri Oriental College organized Bhagavad Gita competitions for students from various schools and colleges with which it has MOUs. The morning session was held in the seminar hall. The afternoon session took place at TTD Kalyanamandapam, with Dr. Usharani Sanka as the chief guest, and esteemed guests including Boppoodi Ramabrahmam, Correspondent G. Raghavendra Rao, and management representatives from Siddhartha English Medium High School and Gorantla Venkanna Oriental College.
Correspondent Gogineni Raghavendra Rao highlighted plans to expand the Bhagavad Gita competitions to mandal and district levels next year, emphasizing the importance of promoting Sanskrit and nurturing cultured citizens. Principal Dr. Annadanam Hanumath Prasad delivered a detailed address on the origin and significance of celebrating the Bhagavad Gita Jayanti.
Dr. Usharani encouraged students to learn and uphold the cultural heritage through the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. Boppoodi Ramabrahmam explained the importance of each verse in the 18 chapters of the Gita, equating each to a powerful weapon and elaborating on “sthitaprajna”.
Prizes were awarded to winners from various schools and colleges. The event was supported by SVJP Trust, and Dr. Ramabrahmam distributed copies of the Bhagavad Gita to all participants. SVJP Temples Trustee K. Saibaba honored guests with prasadam. The program, organized by Dr. R. Varaprasad, concluded with a peace chant.
