Academic Rules and Regulations

1. Attendance:
    • Attendance will be calculated based on 75%attendance at the minimum either for the semester or academic year plan.
    • < 75% attendance is considered for all the theory classes
    • Participants can be provided with attendance in case of their participation in inter collegiate and interstate events.
    • Absence from the college in any session can be counted for total one day as a unit. Absence in any session is found to be absent for the whole day.
    • Students can be provided leave only at the discretion of the principal, that too on medical grounds only.

2. Examination and Evaluation
The college follows an evaluation system based on Acharya Nagarjuna University rules and regulations of Continuous Internal Assessment, and Semester End Examinations. 100 marks are allotted for each theory paper in a semester. The marks will be distributed with 25:75 weightage between Continuous internal assessment and semester end examinations.
2.1 Continuous internal Assessment:
This consists of tests and assignments. The students are also asked to present seminar papers as a part of an internal assessment.
2.2 Year End Examinations:
The examinations are conducted at the end of the academic year as per the university regulations and the evaluation will be conducted as per the university rules. The students are provided with the opportunity for revaluation, script verification and the like as per the rules of the universities for which the college runs affiliated. Passing through a course is totally dependent on the achievement of minimum marks prescribed by the university.
3. Discipline:
1. Disciplined behavior in the hostel and classrooms
2. Using uniforms in prayers, assembly and classroom activities.
3. Participation in all the activities of Sree Viswajanani parishat Trust is mandatory.
4. Leading life with hygienic and prudential communal behavior suitable to orthodox students.
5. Adaptation to ethnic ware, with suitable body language.
6. Fraternal relations with co-students.
7. Targeting for the best of the results in the University examinations.
8. Verbal presentation and functional commitment to all the members, groups and bodies affiliated to SVJP.
9. It is mandatory for all the students to take part in National activities are channelized through agencies like NSS of the college.
